VISA FOR TURKEY

(FOR AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS)

The Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Melbourne warmly welcomes Australian and other nationals wishing to visit Turkey for business or tourism purposes, or those who seek education opportunities in Turkey.

Australian citizens, holders of ordinary and official passport are required to have visa to enter Turkey. You are kindly advised to have a travel document/passport valid for at least 6 months as
from the date of your arrival in Turkey.

How to Apply

A) Ordinary passport holders can obtain three month multiple entry e-Visas via the website
www.evisa.gov.tr. Once the approval from www.evisa.gov.tris received, it is not necessary to
apply to Turkish Missions for a visa sticker.

This system allows visitors travelling to Turkey to easily obtain their e-Visas online (
www.evisa.gov.tr), in approximately three minutes.

It is possible to obtain e-Visa 7/24 at everywhere with internet connection.

B) Official Passport holders (diplomatic, service, special and official passports) can initiate the process through
www.visa.gov.tr to obtain their visa.

Following the online application and appointment, the applicants should apply to the Turkish Missions (Australian nationals who reside in the states of Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania should apply to the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Melbourne from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm during working days from Monday to Friday) to finalize the procedures including submission of their visa application forms duly signed, application number and their passports as well as original copies of the application documents that have been already uploaded on the system.
