VISA FOR TÜRKİYE

(FOR NON-AUSTRALIAN PASSPORT HOLDERS)

You are kindly advised to have a travel document/passport valid for at least 6 months as from the date of your arrival in Türkiye.

Visa applicants can apply to the Turkish visa throughwww.evisa.gov.trorwww.konsolosluk.gov.tr/visa

Those websites are the only official websites to apply for the Turkish visa. If you come across any other website for obtaining the Turkish visa, please refrain from entering any personal information (particularly payment details) otherwise you may become a victim of FRAUD.

If you will not leave the transit lounge at the airport you are not required to have a transit visa.

Foreigners who are travelling to Türkiye by cruises are allowed to enter Türkiye without visa for a maximum period of 72 hours, with the permission given by the local security authorities.

Maximum duration of stay for all types of visas issued by Türkiye is 90 days. The foreigners who wish to stay longer than 90 days in Türkiye are required to apply for “Short Term Residence Permit” at the Provincial Directorate of Migration Administration in order to extend their stay.

If you are holding any Schengen, United Kingdom, United States or Ireland visa, you might be eligible for the Turkish e-visa, please check your eligibility at www.konsolosluk.gov.tr/visa

If you are not eligible for the e-visa, you must apply for a sticker-visa through www.konsolosluk.gov.tr/visa

Application form must be completed before you can view, print or save your form. You will need to print your completed form. Pre-visa application guide is hereby attached.

You will need to sign your form in blue ink and lodge it in person.

Save + Print + Submit your application (Don’t forget to PRINTOUT a hardcopy of your application)

After submission, please select an online appointment day and time for your interview.

On the appointment day, present your passport, application form along with the PRINTED version of the documents listed below at the Consulate.

It takes about one month for the visa request to be finalized.

Please DO NOT purchase the flight tickets or pay for the hotel bookings before your visa is issued. You can provide the reservations to the Consulate.

Required Documents:

• Visa Application Form (available at www.visa.gov.tr)

• Valid Travel Document

• One passport photo (5 x 5 cm, white background)

• Proof of current balance of your bank account

• Formal Employment Letter or Payslip; Income Statement from Centrelink (if unemployed)

• Full accommodation address in Türkiye (hotel reservation)

• Contact details of family members or friends you are visiting or staying with (include rental

agreement or Land Registry Document (Tapu) and official invitation letter)

• Return flight reservation

• Visa Fee - Cash (note that fees are non-refundable if the application is rejected)

• Residence Permit, ID card or UNHCR Refugee Certificate (if applicable) for you and your

family members or the person you are visiting in Türkiye

Once their visa has been approved, all applicants are required to have a travel insurance that will be valid during their stay in Türkiye.
